You can get huge bags of potatoes pretty cheap in the right places and it's a lot better than rice but I'm sure not as cheap. They also don't last as long but you look like a big eater. Some beans here and there can't hurt too if you soak them... (more)

Do you feel the physical need to snack on butter during a movie, or is this just so you don't feel deprived of an old habit of snacking on popcorn during a movie? If the former, there's no problem. If you think it's the latter (ruminate on it a... (more)

Find out how many calories you are consuming and how many calories you need to maintain. You might be gaining weight. Personally, as long as you aren't eating more than an ounce of nuts a day, I'd cut the bacon and eggs out before the nuts.

http://paleofood.com/jerky.htm Has anyone ever tried a Pemmican Only diet for a month or more? What would be the repercussions of doing this? Also wouldn't the tallow provide a lot of nutrients that the lean meat lacks? (more)

Aside from the boredom, it also seems like you would be missing out on all of the micronutrients you would get from vegetables and fruits. Macronutrients are enough to survive... but in combination with micronutrients, you will really thrive. :) (more)

Farmers Markets. While I wouldn't myself consider this an extreme, most people have never been to one. Supporting farmers that provide local, healthier, cheaper, fresher meat and produce has been the single most important change I've made to... (more)
