I've heard you need fats to properly absorb a lot of the vitamins in vegetables. I personally eat veggies sometimes as snacks between meals -- with no fat. Would it be wise to try to include some fats with this? Interested in what amount of... (more)

Steamed or boiled seems best. Pudding introduces something sugary, fried introduces potentially oxidized fat. And while I'm not so sure about this, I think wild rice might be more like brown, in that it has more of the outer seed bits that brown... (more)
