Ketosis is not a magical *bodyfat* burner. Mostly you are burning the fat in your diet. Calorie restriction is #1.    That at being said, in my ketosis experiment I got up to 300g of protein without dropping out if ketosis.  (more)

My understanding is no. But eating something that passes undisturbed through the stomach, such as a tbsp of raw tapioca starch, is a small violation of the fast.

When I eat less on certain days I'll still eat throughout the day but eating less then usual. Sometimes I can get by with a small breakfast, hardly any lunch and have a large meal at dinner time. I tend to skip meals on various days.

It's close - If you completely skipped the lunch, you'd be doing about a 12 hour fast every time you do this. It's not as effective (in my opinion) as a 24-hour fast less frequently, but it will still have some benefit on things like your insulin... (more)

Just say no. Seriously gradually switch to paleo. If you do it over the course of 2-3 weeks you will have no issue adjusting. If you do not, you're much more likely to suffer serious digestive upset. Ketogenic is not a necessity either. I'd advise... (more)

I get this feeling whenever I skip a meal I've been eating daily for a while. It feels really good and all I can say about it is that because it's such a positive feeling, I believe I should fast more often.
