My understanding is no. But eating something that passes undisturbed through the stomach, such as a tbsp of raw tapioca starch, is a small violation of the fast.

The magnesium thing hints to me that you might have an electrolyte issue. If you also have muscle aches when it's not logical to have them, then I'd definitely suspect an electrolyte imbalance. You might recheck your carb amounts in your diet... (more)

I get this feeling whenever I skip a meal I've been eating daily for a while. It feels really good and all I can say about it is that because it's such a positive feeling, I believe I should fast more often.

Breastfeeding and fasting is a really bad idea if you're feeding your baby regularly (ie, not down to just once a day nursing). Don't mess with that. You will have your whole life to do paleo challenges.
