Do i need to lower my carb-intake further despite a daily fasting-period of at least 20 hours? Is this still necessary for complete fat adaption and eventually for getting rid of my bad breath?I'm not sure carbs have anything to do with bad... (more)

I thought you needed 50-65% fat calories, but I'm not really sure. Maybe these links will help you. It mentions daily carbs of 100-150 grams IF you are highly active. I'm not sure what qualifies as highly active, it can be pretty subjective. ... (more)

2-3 days to get back into keto- and 1-2 weeks to get rid of the extra lbs and water retention. Drink green tea with lemon and ginger for cleansing and digestive properties and get back on that wagon :)

You can actually train your body to run off ketones, rather than carbs. Carbs burn up really quickly and inefficiently so if you're using them as your primary fuel source you're going to have to eat more of them more often to keep your energy... (more)

Depends who you ask. Steve Phinney reckons that a single carb binge will knock you out of a ketosis, and you'll have to spend another 3 weeks keto-adapting. Mark Sissons reckons it only takes a day or two. I don't think that there is any good... (more)
