Post em if you got em. Two years ago, all was quiet on the paleo front for me, except on the internet. Times are a' changin.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/108322/post-pictures-here-of-you-running-into-paleo-stuff-in-the-wild/108672#108672 Answer by Jeff for Post pictures here, of you running into paleo stuff in the wild Jeff 2012-03-31T04:54:51Z 2012-03-31T04:54:51Z
Not exactly in the wild, but I think these authors were onto the paleo diet way back in 1991, they just didn't quite realize it... Grain and dairy free plus fish oil and IFing for treatment of autoimmune disease. pretty bad ass if you ask me.

http://rheumatology.oxfordjournals.org/content/30/2/125.abstract
http://paleohacks.com/questions/108322/post-pictures-here-of-you-running-into-paleo-stuff-in-the-wild/109383#109383 Answer by RanchHand for Post pictures here, of you running into paleo stuff in the wild RanchHand 2012-04-03T08:08:11Z 2012-04-03T08:08:11Z
I was teaching a rock climbing class over the weekend. For lunch I had an apple, some carrots, a chunk of raw cheese and a bike bottle full of coconut milk. Pretty normal stuff; it's not like I was gnawing on raw elk ;). Out of the blue one of my students asked me if I had read Robb Wolf's book. I said I had, but I thought it was too narrow and that I was more of a Weston-Price kind of guy. Another student heard that and told me she'd been doing Weston-Price for ten years (btw, she looked amazing). We were talking about the merits of raw dairy when another student jumped in. Someone used the words 'yam' and 'coconut oil' in a sentence and ANOTHER student said to us 'yams and coconut oil, you guys are talking primal aren't you?'. Out of a group of fifteen people, half were primal/paleo/W-P. Times they are a changing!

When I shop at Trader Joes', the staff now regularly corners me to chat primal. Ten bricks of Kerrygold butter (2 week supply), raw cheese, coconut oil, omega-3 eggs, canned wild caught salmon. They see my basket and immediately know I'm one of the tribe. But in the past year, I haven't seen a single 'primal' basket going through checkout other than mine. I have, however, had several very concerned old ladies warn me about the hazards of cholesterol from eating all that butter!

So what I'm seeing is that the healthy, athletic crowd is getting it. Rock climbers, cyclists, weight lifters and MMA fighters are all primal/paleo/WP already. It will be a while before everyone else catches up, but it's going to happen!
http://paleohacks.com/questions/108322/post-pictures-here-of-you-running-into-paleo-stuff-in-the-wild/109384#109384 Answer by Frugal Jen for Post pictures here, of you running into paleo stuff in the wild Frugal Jen 2012-04-03T08:34:41Z 2012-04-03T08:34:41Z
My taiji instructor--whose day job is Chinese medicine practitioner--keeps posting to FB about things like the nutritional value of organ meat, and how he enjoys recommending lard and other healthy fats to his "health conscious" clients. And one of my fellow students is now following my blog because he needs sugar-free, grain-free recipes. I haven't asked either of them about the details of their respective food philosophies, but I'm with RanchHand: the healthy, athletic crowd is "getting it," no matter what label(s) they apply!
http://paleohacks.com/questions/108322/post-pictures-here-of-you-running-into-paleo-stuff-in-the-wild/110508#110508 Answer by Chauncey Gardner for Post pictures here, of you running into paleo stuff in the wild Chauncey Gardner 2012-04-07T22:27:16Z 2012-04-07T22:27:16Z
I was walking on Highland Ave. in Somerville, MA when I noticed that a bakery has recently closed. What's replacing it? A pasture-raised meat shop. Sounds pretty paleo to me.
