<p>I like Indian food quite a bit. I am slowly learning what spices they use. Some such as fennugreek, cumin, fennel, and carraway and coriander are from seeds. Do these seeds cause digestive irrition or have high levels of omega 6? </p>

<p>It's funny you should ask this. For the past week, I've been on an "Indian binge" and have been making everything with a spice blend of turmeric, cumin, coriander, and saffron. For the past couple of days, I've been noticing I'm sort of bloated, slightly gassy and my intestine area has been making gurgly noises. I haven't been really introduced anything else into my diet that could be screwing with me.</p> <p>So the answer is a resounding "maybe." </p>

Is that like cosmic irony or something?</p> <p>Really though, I ate Indian food for dinner almost every single day for the first 18 years of my life, and my insides always felt like they were melting and my nose would run like a firehose. </p> <p>Right before leaving for college, my grandma and mom decided that they would dial the spice down.
