How to detox quicker Paleoshlet 2012-07-20T01:40:29Z 2012-07-20T14:22:46Z
I've had three blissful days of greek yogurt and cottage cheese.

The price: My face, back and even my derriere are covered in fresh break-out. Any way to recover my healthy complexion in a few days? Should I drink a lot of green tea and try to sweat it out? Are there any ways to speed the healing process?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/136777/n1-of-re-introducing-dairy-has-failed-how-to-detox-quicker/136780#136780 Answer by A at Grain Free Diet for N=1 of re-introducing Dairy has failed. Probably 18-24 hours for most things. What you're most likely experiencing is your body's autoimmune reaction to the "toxin". That can take a long time, and there's really not much you can do to speed it up. You just want to be super clean and let your body stop reacting.

I've read that with a gluten exposure that it's possible to measure an autoimmune reaction anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months (!) after a single exposure. If you're having a similar autoimmune reaction to the dairy, you may be in the same category. I don't know, but keep track and see how it goes so you know for next time.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/136777/n1-of-re-introducing-dairy-has-failed-how-to-detox-quicker/136813#136813 Answer by Varelse for N=1 of re-introducing Dairy has failed. I have an exfoliating towel that I love and would might be helpful for you. This: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?skuId=5503167&productId=prod5503167&navAction=push&navCount=1&subdoc=13625offbathwk2611&categoryId=cat110010#details is the one I have, but I'm sure there are more out there. Put on whatever kind of soap you generally use, and scrubscrubscrub the back and other affected areas, and if you use any kind of anti-acne soap, that's all for the better. The scrubby towel is probably a bit harsh for your face, but you can use an acne exfoliator (like St Ives Apricot Scrub or Green Tea scrub, or whatever kind you usually like).
http://paleohacks.com/questions/136777/n1-of-re-introducing-dairy-has-failed-how-to-detox-quicker/136824#136824 Answer by Seppo for N=1 of re-introducing Dairy has failed. Detox is mostly just nonsense propagates by alt-med practitioners.

Most likely you experience the consequences of the hormonal effect of dairy products. Or possibly an allergic reaction.

There's not much you can do about an inflamed pimple once it has popped up. Before it inflames there's more you can do, but I wouldn't mess with an inflamed pimple. You'll just add to the irritation. You can try some anti-inflammatory creams (like aloe vera or green tea), but I doubt they'll help much at this stage. Sorry.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/136777/n1-of-re-introducing-dairy-has-failed-how-to-detox-quicker/136859#136859 Answer by Shawn for N=1 of re-introducing Dairy has failed. There are other anti-inflammatory foods out there as well. Fish oil supplements should help too.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/136777/n1-of-re-introducing-dairy-has-failed-how-to-detox-quicker/136893#136893 Answer by Chris for N=1 of re-introducing Dairy has failed. A/D/K2/Zinc, etc.
