<p>For a topical, I use straight up lavender oil. Really brings the inflammation down, and it doesn't burn like other oils or creams.</p>

<p>My wife mixes baking soda with water for a paste that she spreads over the sting. It works quite well. My 3 year old stopped crying almost immediately.</p> <p>Oh...your looking for something for the day after swelling. Ice pack/Ice cube. Use it for about 20 minutes out of the hour.</p>

<p>Take the tobacco out of a cigar or cigarette. Moisten and apply to sting. It's old school and works.</p>
