Hello, everybody!

Quick question. I'm an active man in mid twenties, eating clean paleo, weightlifting, supplementing with various vitamins and minerals.

Recently, I decided to do a complete hormonal blood work. Everything came out perfect (Testo, free testo, estradiolm progesterone, SHBG, T3, free T3, T4, free T4, insulin, adreanaline, nor-adrenaline, cortisol, serotonin, grwoth hormone), BUT DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is higher than norm: 1300 pg/ml vs. maximum of 990. I reseached it a little and found out that it's usually related with either baldness or prostate enlargement. First certainly has nothing to do with me, but I was diagnosed with slightly enlarged prostate couple of years ago. Also, according to my 23andme test, I have high risk of prostate cancer (21 out of 100). So, I got a quite concerned.

The question is whether you can recommend something in terms of lifestyle, nutrition or anything else to lower DHT short-term, keep prostate and decrease the risk of cancer long-term. Of course, I already read about Saw Palemetto, but wonder whether it's really efficient and suffiecient and whether there is anything else that can be done.

Thank you very, very much!

I have now used Alfuzosin six months. At first, when taking Alfuzosin, I would easily tire and experienced stomach pain much of the day. Now, it seems my body has adjusted to the medicine and I am not as likely to become tired. I still have stomach discomfort but not as severe. One thing I have noticed which concerns me is the fact the Alfuzosin seems to wear off easily and the frequency to use the bathroom has not really disappeared. Overall, the drug seems to work well.

It's tasty and i can quickly take a teaspoon a day, or i use it as a butter substitute. On toast or a bagel. On corn in the summer, when i go to the local growers market and get my NON GMO sweet corn.

It is also great in a smoothie or on potatoes.

Here is the best price i've found on it.
