Is it ok to give a 20 month old toddler bacon? I am a little worried about the salt content in bacon and other deli meats. She just loves it and I see on alot of the paleo sites that alot of mums give their children bacon. She drinks alot of water after she has it so just wondering what you guys think about the salt and if there is a way of lowering the salt content in it? Cheers.

I started giving my youngest regular bacon when she was 18 months. I don't worry about restricting salt for health reasons, but if it's too salty for her taste, maybe you could rinse it before cooking? Or maybe you have access to unseasoned bacon.
