<p>Slowing the aging process is as simple as improving your health. In my opinion, the majority of people age prematurely..I've seen obvious signs of this in the people I know..I don't think you can undo the damage that is already done but you can keep the majority of it from happening. I turned 50 this year so I'm interested in this topic. Here are some suggestions.</p> <p>Moderate your starch consumption and (definitely) sugar/fructose. Research terms: glycation and AGEs.</p> <p>Eliminate all processed packaged foods (common sense).</p> <p>Eliminate all polyunsaturated oils.</p> <p>Eliminate gluten.</p> <p>Try to balance omega 3/6 intake.</p> <p>Use cocount oil, butter, eggs and fish (make sure you get pleanty of fat soluble vitamins).</p> <p>Make sure your mineral intake is adequate..</p> <p>Eat fermented foods frequently.</p> <p>Make sure you get pleanty of antioxidants.</p> <p>Intermittent fasting </p>

<p>The best intervention - paleo or otherwise - that I know to slow aging is, not surprisingly, fast aging. I realize it sounds counter-intuitive, but it works.</p>
