Greg 2012-09-02T02:49:22Z 2012-09-02T16:38:51Z
HI guys! im from italy and im 18 years old! I've been an ibs sufferer (c&d) for a lot years , 8 or 9 !

Once I discovered the paleo diet , the gluten damages , the dairies/sugars/legumes damages , and once I've eliminated potatoes , my ibs is 90% gone , and this in very good for me!

I've never ate fruit in my life , and the same for the vegetables , in fact I just eat carrots ( a lot ) and 0 kind of fruit!

1 month ago I tried to eat blueberries but I had a lot of gas after it , so I stopped.

I don't understand why. I eat a lot of dark chocolate everyday and it don't causes me gas , so why some natural bluberries do it? maybe bluebberies contains more sugars then some dark chocolate?

I'D like some advices! and last thing , in my opinion , gluten/dairies combined with fodmaps , are the real causes of that pain that medicians calls IBS.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/146769/please-someone-hacks-my-ibs/146773#146773 Answer by Eugenia for PLEASE SOMEONE HACKS MY IBS? Your body just doesn't have these because it thinks it doesn't need them. You must start eating them, little by little. 1 cherry today, 2 strawberries tomorrow etc. Same for the veggies.

For IBS, I'd suggest some home-made goat kefir too, it has helped mine a lot with my gut flora. Start with 1/4 cup, and go up to 1 cup within 3 weeks time. Kefir has enzymes in it to digest dairy. Fermenting it for 30 hours eliminates most lactose, and goats are better casein-wise than cows.

The other thing very important for IBS sufferers: home-made bone marrow broth. It will heal your gut because of the amount of gelatin it has in it (it will close down the holes).

Finally, try a bit of offal and fish/shellfish too, and when your gut is in good condition, try some sea veggies... Check your vitamin D3 status btw.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/146769/please-someone-hacks-my-ibs/146853#146853 Answer by uberbulldog for PLEASE SOMEONE HACKS MY IBS? uberbulldog 2012-09-02T16:38:51Z 2012-09-02T16:38:51Z
The best thing you can do is get your vitamin d level up around 60~70. That supplementation got rid of my crohns.
