If I eat 5--6 almonds it's ok , If I eat a little more , like 15-16 , then the day after I'll get FOR SURE diarrhea , I noticed it everytime! and on the diarrhea there's pieces of almonds...

Someone can tell me wh? I should stop eat it?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/148060/ibs-paleo-and-almonds/148064#148064 Answer by Tree for ibs , paleo and almonds Tree 2012-09-09T02:18:39Z 2012-09-09T02:18:39Z
I had to stop eating whole nuts and now eat the butters - almond & cashew. Much kinder on the digestion
http://paleohacks.com/questions/148060/ibs-paleo-and-almonds/148123#148123 Answer by Matthius for ibs , paleo and almonds Matthius 2012-09-09T10:44:11Z 2012-09-09T10:44:11Z
The fiber can be rough on digestion. Have you considered soaking almonds to make home-made almond milk? Here's a recipe: Homemade Almond Milk
http://paleohacks.com/questions/148060/ibs-paleo-and-almonds/164253#164253 Answer by Cookiedude420 for ibs , paleo and almonds Cookiedude420 2012-11-27T09:17:12Z 2012-11-27T09:17:12Z
I got IBS\D too, recently started drinking home made protein + carbs shakes (vegetarian)

i add about 15-25 grms (heap full table spoon +-) almond powder as a healty carb source (among other things) and drink it about 2-1 hours before i go to sleep

only did a few times but it seems to help a lot and im one of those that almost nothing helps them

im now trying to find an explanation to this and stumbeld on this site so i had to say somthing

also found a refferance to almond powder being potentially benneficial here (http://ibs.about.com/b/2008/07/17/going-nuts.htm)

hope this helps
http://paleohacks.com/questions/148060/ibs-paleo-and-almonds/165863#165863 Answer by Norm for ibs , paleo and almonds Norm 2012-12-05T15:57:55Z 2012-12-05T15:57:55Z
I love nuts too, but they do contain lots of fiber. Fiber is fermentable and can potentially promote the overgrowth of gas-producting/symptoms causing bacteria in the small intestine. Just cutting back a bit should help.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/148060/ibs-paleo-and-almonds/165864#165864 Answer by greymouser for ibs , paleo and almonds greymouser 2012-12-05T16:03:11Z 2012-12-05T16:03:11Z
If you can see large pieces of visible undigested almond in your stool, then I have a suggestion for you: chew more thoroughly.

I always scarfed down my food when I was young, and I still battle the urge to rush to finish meals. Digestions starts in the mouth, and thoroughly masticating your food will help digestion.

Granted, this might not help your IBS, but I do suggest focussing on chewing for a bit, until you "relearn" how to chew food.
