H everyone , I'm in paleo cause my ibs and I have to say that without sugars/cereals/dairies/legumes my guts are very better , but I like almonds , but there's a problem.
If I eat 5--6 almonds it's ok , If I eat a little more , like 15-16 , then the day after I'll get FOR SURE diarrhea , I noticed it everytime! and on the diarrhea there's pieces of almonds...

Someone can tell me wh? I should stop eat it?

Have you considered soaking almonds to make home-made almond milk? Here's a recipe: Homemade Almond Milk

recently started drinking home made protein + carbs shakes (vegetarian)

i add about 15-25 grms (heap full table spoon +-) almond powder as a healty carb source (among other things) and drink it about 2-1 hours before i go to sleep

only did a few times but it seems to help a lot and im one of those that almost nothing helps them

im now trying to find an explanation to this and stumbeld on this site so i had to say somthing

also found a refferance to almond powder being potentially benneficial here (http://ibs.about.com/b/2008/07/17/going-nuts.htm)

hope this helps

Fiber is fermentable and can potentially promote the overgrowth of gas-producting/symptoms causing bacteria in the small intestine. Just cutting back a bit should help.

I always scarfed down my food when I was young, and I still battle the urge to rush to finish meals. Digestions starts in the mouth, and thoroughly masticating your food will help digestion.

Granted, this might not help your IBS, but I do suggest focussing on chewing for a bit, until you "relearn" how to chew food.
