Hi everyone I'm from Italy.
I'am 19 , and I always been an iBS sufferer , now with paleo , the thing are better for the 70% , but not for the 100% .
I usually feel brain fog , I can't decide if the fault is about the low carbs.
I eat
Meat - fish , olive oil , turmeric , and the only vegetables is the carrot , I eat it everyday.
I don't eat any kind of fruits , cause I don't know why , 1 months ago I tried to eat blueberries and they gave me a lot of hair in my guts.

I came from a chocolate (dark ) dipendence , and today is the 3rd days without it , It's really strong to avoid it for me , I hope I will not give up.

I also started to take magnesium ( 2 spoon ) per days , since 3 days , for my insomnia.

I also feel preety tired since months , but I don't know if the diet can be the cause.

I'd be happy to learn something from this great community!

Ops , obviously I avoid all the anti paleo foods! ( cereals , dairies , legumes and sugars)

So try to stay under 50 carbs, and all your carbs will come from above ground fibrous vegetables (lose the carrots, they have quite a bit of carbs) it takes 3-6 weeks to become keto adapted so you may be a little foggy during the transition. For the IBS try some gelatin rich beef bone broth. You don't need to eat fruit, I don't believe they are that nutrient dense anyway. Make sure all your meat is grass fed, but since you are in italy I think your meats may be of way better quality than here in the US) I'd stay away from all prepackaged foods, and just stick to single ingredient foods

read these books the autoimmune paleo may help you find a food that you didn't know you were allergic too. Primal Body Primal Mind is my favorite by far. she even touches on IBS and says how gluten can make it worse. So try to stay away from gluten, and gluten can be hidden, even nuts can be processed in the same factory as wheat, so there could be cross contamination.
