Ten Bulls 2012-10-09T19:01:26Z 2012-10-09T23:14:00Z
I'm aiming to gain a decent amount of lean mass over the next 6 months. I haven't had a lot of luck with this because I'm very much the lean and skinny weakling build, but also because I deal with fatigue a few times a year that throws a wrench in the Crossfit/HIIT approach I've been trying. The last two times I tried a regular HIIT workout, I had fatigue flareups within 2 months that destroyed my progress.

One complication is that I usually go LC/VLC except for post-workout to manage my fatigue.

Any ideas or suggestions?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/154548/can-i-gain-lean-body-mass-without-aggravating-fatigue/154554#154554 Answer by Spears for Can I gain lean body mass without aggravating fatigue? I suggest this because of the regular Strategic Deconditioning: "reset"/layoff periods. The whole system is cyclic and slowly builds up conditioning and then backs off. It's not specifically paleo but their free manual is fully open to low carb and ketogenic renditions of their recommended diet.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/154548/can-i-gain-lean-body-mass-without-aggravating-fatigue/154567#154567 Answer by mike for Can I gain lean body mass without aggravating fatigue? mike 2012-10-09T20:40:55Z 2012-10-09T20:40:55Z
The only way to build muscle mass is to be in a calorie surplus, period. You make gains out of the weight room
