I was just curious how quickly most people started seeing weight loss and how soon you could start intermittent-fasting?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156412/how-quickly-do-you-usually-see-results-eating-paleo-how-soon-would-you-recommend/156442#156442 Answer by CD for How quickly do you usually see results eating paleo? For me it took three weeks, and then it was like a light switch.

As far as IF, I would first determine why you want to do IF. If you have gotten to the point where you are ready to start, first just go by hunger, if you skip a meal every now and then because you are not hungry, and feel no effects from it, then you are ready to take a more significant step.

good luck!
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156412/how-quickly-do-you-usually-see-results-eating-paleo-how-soon-would-you-recommend/156460#156460 Answer by Fitness Wayne for How quickly do you usually see results eating paleo? You should probably wait at least a week or two into paleo so you can get fat adapted which will make fasting easier. In my experience skipping breakfast is the easiest way to fast for new people. If you eat dinner at 8 pm and fast until noon the next day then it will be 16 hours. Once you are comfortable doing a 16 hour fast twice a week then start experimenting with longer fasts. I have gone as long as 24 hours and rarely get hungry during fasting.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156412/how-quickly-do-you-usually-see-results-eating-paleo-how-soon-would-you-recommend/156467#156467 Answer by PhysiqueRescue for How quickly do you usually see results eating paleo? I also "felt" much better and my performance and outlook improved in every avenue. Granted, I was coming from about as bad as it gets in regards to health, stress, and diet.

Once my weight loss stalled a little bit, I started incorporating IF and haven't looked back since. Going to two meals a day has made planning meals and preparing food MUCH easier to manage. I agree with others, I do a Bulletproof Coffee for breakfast and eat in the afternoon and evening. The best part is there is no midday crash or hunger.

Welcome to living a paleo lifestyle, it's been a game changer for me and I wish the best of luck!

Matt
PhysiqueRescue.com
