To my amazement I have grown 3cm. Is there a mechanism to examine this?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156440#156440 Answer by margarets for Growing taller on Paleo margarets 2012-10-18T00:24:49Z 2012-10-18T00:24:49Z
To examine if you grew? Yup - a ruler.

Hehe.

But seriously, it could also just be normal, albeit late, growth. Apparently our brains don't fully develop until our 20s. I didn't have all my adult teeth until I was 17 (!). It happens. Maybe you have also gained better posture and flexibility, so you are standing up straighter.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156441#156441 Answer by CD for Growing taller on Paleo CD 2012-10-18T00:25:31Z 2012-10-18T00:25:31Z
Are you sure it's actual height?

25 is not too old for a late growth spurt, although it is unusual.

3 cm seems to be a bit outside of an expected measurement error....

My theory is that the sprints and the lifts have helped to improve your posture so you stood up taller.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156443#156443 Answer by Kyle for Growing taller on Paleo Kyle 2012-10-18T00:34:45Z 2012-10-18T00:34:45Z
Yea, I agree with others that improved posture from the exercise program could have made the difference. Think about it, if your spine has excessive kyphosis obviously you aren't going to be as tall as you would be with a less kyphotic posture. Exercise can help with that.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156444#156444 Answer by Michelle for Growing taller on Paleo Michelle 2012-10-18T00:36:46Z 2012-10-18T00:36:46Z
I grew 3/4" taller in 2010 at age 21. Could be the fact that I started eating well that year. Or could be a late growth spurt. Neither are outside the realm of possibility. :)
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156538#156538 Answer by Britt for Growing taller on Paleo Britt 2012-10-18T16:22:28Z 2012-10-18T16:22:28Z
I gained an inch around age 21 so its possible.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156543#156543 Answer by Alvaro for Growing taller on Paleo Alvaro 2012-10-18T16:45:49Z 2012-10-18T16:45:49Z
I think you are fitter now, than you use to, this promotes a better posture. I've been told I look taller and I'm 38.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156548#156548 Answer by Andreas for Growing taller on Paleo Andreas 2012-10-18T17:05:47Z 2012-10-18T17:05:47Z
Height varies roughly 2 cm between rising and evening, with rising being the taller. Usually sexual maturation will stop long bones from growing due to estrogen levels rising and causing growth platelets on bones to harden. This will surely have happened by age 25 under almost every set of circumstances. Certain diseases will alter this and have people growing after teen years. A Paleo diet might theoretically ad some cm to ones adult height, but only if started at birth.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156638#156638 Answer by Leannmean for Growing taller on Paleo Leannmean 2012-10-18T22:25:15Z 2012-10-18T22:25:15Z
I continued to grow, albeit slowly, into my mid 20's. From 20-25 I grew about 3 centinerers
http://paleohacks.com/questions/156437/growing-taller-on-paleo/156689#156689 Answer by primallykosher for Growing taller on Paleo primallykosher 2012-10-19T04:06:27Z 2012-10-19T04:06:27Z
I wouldn't mind growing another 6" as long as much spine straightened out more. I'm 27 so I doubt that will happen.
