<p>I always wake up with one nostril nearly completely clogged. The other is fine. It goes away within an hour. During the day, one nostril will still be partially clogged. The nostril that's clogged will cycle from left to right several times a day. Is this normal? Or is it a sign of congestion? </p>

<p>Erectile tissue in the nose sounds like the most likely cause. During the day it'll alternate. Although, it might be congestion. Tried a salt wash? Lean back until you can see the wall behind you, then gargle warm salty water into your nostrils. Washes away mucous, worked really well for me.</p>
