<p>Perhaps for some, but not for others, such as myself. It seems to differ depending on the person. Try going lower and higher carb within a paleo diet template and see what happens. Use various carb sources too; tubers, vegetables, fruits, and safe starches like white rice. Eat different ones and see which ones your body responds well to. This will help you figure out how you and you alone should be eating.</p>

I don't know if I'm in ketosis but I don't eat many starchy carbs and follow a pretty high fat diet. Most of my carbs come from green veggies like broccoli and lettuce so I would think I would be close to ketotic level, especially with the amount of lifting I do. Be careful of the gas with the cauliflower! The smell is awful! </p>
<p>I honestly think more veggies are better. You might run better on less but I just find that my stomach isn't filled without them. </p>

I have been in ketosis for a month now with no noticeable benefits. Might it be making me healthier? Perhaps. Do I still have fatigue and pimples? You bet. I believe in the power of diet and nutrition too, but ketosis will not erase whatever prexisting issues are around. Try it and see if it works for you, but don't have unrealistic expectations.</p>
