Could deep cold feeling be the result of recent switch to paleo and/or intense weight-lifting? - PaleoHacks.com most recent 30 from http://paleohacks.com 2013-05-19T13:44:11Z http://paleohacks.com/feeds/question/156843 http://www.creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.5/rdf http://paleohacks.com/questions/156843/could-deep-cold-feeling-be-the-result-of-recent-switch-to-paleo-and-or-intense-we Could deep cold feeling be the result of recent switch to paleo and/or intense weight-lifting? tbunchylulu 2012-10-19T23:48:17Z 2012-10-19T23:48:17Z
I have always run pretty hot compared to those around me, but I've noticed recently sometimes I will feel suddenly really cold, and not just superficially so. I have only been Primal for four months after being gluten-free WAPF follower. At the same time, I also adopted a 3x/week intense Venus Index weight training program. At first I thought the random cold feeling was just the change of seasons, but I noticed that it would happen inside a 70 degree house. I have not paid attention enough to comment on whether it is happening only on workout days or if it's before or after meals.

I am scared that I may be doing something that is harming my health...what could this be an indication of? I know it might be a hypothyroid symptom, but I have plenty of energy and as I mentioned, I have always usually felt warmer than others around me. Can low-carb cause hypothyroid symptoms. I estimate I eat 70-100 carbs/day. I also eat plenty of fat.

The only other new things I can think of are D3/K2 and magnesium supplementation.

Has anyone had this happen to them or have any ideas about what it could be?
