<p>tomatos and other nightshades can cause skin conditions / auto-immune responses... that's why robb wolf etc recommend doing a strict no-nightshade approach for these kinds of conditions</p>

Haven't really bothered to try again, because...well...I like not having knee pain or breakouts so I'm not really willing to chance it. Small amounts here and there don't seem to cause any outward symptoms for me, but I don't like tomatoes enough to incorporate them into meals very often.</p>
