Although I've found this forum crazy helpful in my transition to paleo eating, I now am looking for a good guide for my girlfriend. She is interested but skeptical, and not much of a reader, so I need something comprehensive but still accessible for someone who does not necessarily have the motivation to slog through graphs of lipid conversion factors, or what not (I may have just made that phrase up). She's a martial artist and does heavy training a few times a week, but is pretty active everyday. Help? I feel like my experience won't be great for her, as I'm a ZC kinda girl, and she loves her some carbs. Thanks for any suggestions!

Mosbey
http://paleohacks.com/questions/157131/recommendations-for-intro-books-for-paleo-athletes/157132#157132 Answer by Lynn for recommendations for intro books for paleo athletes Lynn 2012-10-21T16:08:22Z 2012-10-21T16:08:22Z
The Paleo Coach by Jason Seib might be a good fit, however it's not out for a couple of months. You can pre-order on Amazon.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/157131/recommendations-for-intro-books-for-paleo-athletes/157152#157152 Answer by CD for recommendations for intro books for paleo athletes CD 2012-10-21T18:07:52Z 2012-10-21T18:07:52Z
Art and science of low carb is ok. Tom is the nutritionist for many top level boxers & mma fighters. I don't agree with some of her principals but it's a good starting point for figuring out your macro needs. You're going to have to replace her menu with paleo sources though.
