I called A & P (local mega store) national customer service line to ask if they could suggest a brand of beef, butter in their store that is grass fed / finished. I called twice. Both times I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then the line went dead. Similar experience? Does your chain Grocery store carry grass fed/finished Beef, butter?

The Butchers at the counter know what that is but it is unlikely they have it. Sprouts has a frozen brand called Springer Ranch that has a grass finished version. Other than them I buy all mine frozen at Vitamin Cottage-Natural Grocers or Whole Foods. I buy my Kerrygold at Costco or Organic Pastures in the green foil package at Vitamin Cottage.

Not at Costco, Trader Joe's, our regular local stores, any of the local Nationwide stores, etc. Not to mention it's ridiculously expensive at Whole Foods and I've heard it costing much less. It's really a bummer.

FWIW, I live in the Chicagoland area (south suburbs), and if someone can prove me wrong, I'd be forever grateful!

And they sell Kerrygold butter for a decent price. They have the best price around on coconut oil, too.

Grocery chains are starting to carry (expensive) coconut oil, but not grassfed meat and butter, yet. We should keep asking, though. Maybe they'll get the idea, eventually.

I've also found it at Market Basket for around $7/lb, but I don't know about the quality. I get the bulk of my beef in the mail from La Cense Beef in Montana, though. That's some really high-quality stuff. If I'm just out of ground beef, I generally get mine through the mail from Costco. $8, including shipping.

One of my Publix carries grass fed ground beef for around $7.99 brands White Oak Pastures https://whiteoakpastures.com/index.html and Maverick Ranch (can't find any webpage weird). Also pastured free range chicken/eggs, (don't remember the brand) Kerry Gold butter and cheese.

I have also seen in some Targets grass fed beef brand Thousand Hills Cattle Company http://www.thousandhillscattleco.com/ ground beef $7.99, hot dogs $5.99, steaks $11-ish, Kerry Gold cheese but no butter. At Walmart I found Kerry Gold cheese as well.

The prices might not be the best but for someone that doesn't have access to any farms or farmers market is a great convenience.
