Hi,

I was just wondering if there are any Paleo women out there who have undergone a complete hysterectomy and were able to stop their hormone replacement therapy while on a paleo diet?

thanks!
Jeanine

Now paleo has removed most of the symptoms I was really scared of and I'm humming along quite nicely on my natural post-menopausal hormones. I did need that help in the beginning, though.

Do you mind if I ask how old you are? I'm 42 and my doctor just advised against weaning off the estrogen therapy. He tried to scare me silly by telling me of vaginal atrophy, my bladder dropping and osteoperosis. Now I have bleeding and he has no explanation. I'm beginning to think it's the estrogen therapy. I feel queasy and bloated, like I did before the hysterectomy. I've been Paleo for 2 weeks now. It's helped but now I worry about those other issues he mentioned!
