It helped me feel satisfied and full, and I started to loose weight. Unfortunately, after a few months I started having increased liver area pain. At one point I even had a gallbladder attack (rather painful!). An ultrasound showed that there were no stones.. I continued to have pain until my acupuncturist casually mentioned that coconut oil thickens things up in the liver and gallbladder. When I stopped using coconut oil my liver area pain decreased, but my cravings increased and the satisfied full feelings decreased. So now what? What can I use instead that's quick, get's rid of cravings and makes me feel satisfied after a meal?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/158579/coconut-oil-liver-issues/158580#158580 Answer by EnglishRose for Coconut Oil liver issues EnglishRose 2012-10-28T17:32:28Z 2012-10-28T17:32:28Z
I have eaten the meat from half a coconut each afternoon the last two days and that seems to work well and is more natural than coconut oil itself and had roughage too.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/158579/coconut-oil-liver-issues/158591#158591 Answer by carly for Coconut Oil liver issues carly 2012-10-28T17:50:47Z 2012-10-28T17:50:47Z
Another type of fat? A spoonful of nut or seed butter?

Personally, drinking a sweet tasting herbal tea after a meal really helps my satiety. Cinnamon tea, licorice tea, ginger, lemongrass. Finding that out taught me that sometimes, cravings and lack of satiety were not related to caloric or nutritional needs.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/158579/coconut-oil-liver-issues/158750#158750 Answer by TrueHero for Coconut Oil liver issues TrueHero 2012-10-29T13:55:34Z 2012-10-29T13:55:34Z
Fiber.
