I'll be taking 10 pounds of wings to my friends' annual party. On the other hand, I won't be especially strict that day.

As for the game... well, I never watch the game because I don't have a TV and I'm not usually interested enough. I'd rather spend the time hanging out and talking with friends.

He makes his annual chili (not Paleo) and I usually handle the appetizers. I may make some Paleo stuff, like deviled eggs and veggie platter, but I will probably make them their usual spinach dip and such too.

I'm the only Paleo person in my household, no one else has bought in and frankly, aren't likely to. I think they assume it's a weird phase I'm going through.

We are going to a party and thankfully there will be other paleo eaters there, so I'm excited to see what other items show up. Someone already said they are making paleo meatballs (none of that sticky sauce on them). I hope someone brings wings!

I'd love to hear what others are making/bringing. I love football and it's been a little odd this year without beer and chips, but I also FEEL amazing and don't have that "oh, sigh, time to loose that weight/I feel miserable and fat" thoughts and feelings going on.

I'm also going to make homemade chips and dip, the latter using my homemade yogurt. I've made sweet potato chips before using my mandolin and for this event I'll make both white and sweet.

I'm probably going to watch the game with friends, but my order of eating will be:

fruit appetizer, either a banana or grapefruit

chicken wings, 2 or 3

chips and dip, a nice handful

After that, I'll just sip my water kefir while my friends go through their usual routine of teasing me that it's "booze."

For me, it just wouldn't be right not to have chips.

And this year we found really good locally made bacon. I'm going to get it sliced really thin for wrapping the dates, and then enjoy every salty sweet calorie.

And I finally found an incredibly respectable beer substitute - Finnriver dry hopped hard apple cider. Yes, HOPS! If you're in WA, OR, AK, MN, or FL, they can ship to you. I think it's so worth it. Beats the h*** out of the gluten free beers that I've tried, and for that matter, I like it better than any of the basic British hard ciders I can find around here.
