We are doing whole30 but would like to take friends out somewhere fancy to celebrate their recent marriage. I have no idea where we could do this in Vancouver? Any suggestions would be amazing, thank you!

Search mongolie grill (there are 3 locations in the LM i think) and you can choose what you eat here - it's pretty cool

The banana leaf malaysian is really excellent - it may take a bit of effort to read the menu and choose only the options that you can eat - but it is really worth the effore - super delicious, great service and awesome atmosphere!

Meetup.com has a vancouver paleo group - maybe go there and ask them. There are a couple of paleohackers from the lower mainland - so hopefully you'll get some more help.

It's French so plenty of delicious meat dishes. Check their menu- http://lecrocodilerestaurant.com/menus/dinner/
You could probably phone them up and ask if they cook in vegetable oil or not, too. I wouldn't be surprised if they use butter though.
