I'm 3 months in and eating things I wouldn't have touched with a ten foot pole months ago. I can't get enough sauerkraut, I literally eat it at every meal. I have a love for muscles, clams and game. I'm also more willing to try new things and I usually like them. Another big taste explosion for me is salt-- love it!!

That'd probably take more than 6 weeks, so it may just be that removing the highly intense hyperpalatable foods for a while has recalibrated your tastes to the default settings.

The smell of bacon cooking is so complex now.
