As years go by, I discover and supplement other steroid hormones. Doing relatively good, recently eliminated thyroid hormone supplementation.

I am in a process of readjusting my Steroid Hormones Panel. Among others I started with DHEAs=25 very low Heavy supplementation indeed resulted in raisin my DHEAs levels but my 5α-Androstane-3α, 17β-Diol Glucuronide, Serum skyrocketed 4.8x over top range =10501/2200=4.8

What do I want more good DHEAs level or lower 5α-Androstane-3α, 17β-Diol Glucuronide, Serum (3α-diol G)

Recent few blood tests are shown on a table Below dates and corresponding protocol.

http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/5223/image49x.jpg

Googling I see correlation between DHEA supplementation and raise in (3α-diol G) in relation to women. They are getting hairy. As a man i do not really care if that is all that is coming.

..

1---DHEA--dehydroepiandrosterone,

2---DHEAs--dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate,

3---5-androstene-3beta,17beta-diol,

4---androstenedione,

5---testosterone,

6---DHT---dihydrotestosterone,

7---5α-Androstane-3α, 17β-Diol Glucuronide

Where on chart is located 3---5-androstene-3beta,17beta-diol can't figure it out, pls help

How to explain (3alpha-androstanediol glucuronide) raise in my case. The flow is thru testosterone. I am adding testosterone for years, nothing ever happened to (3alpha-androstanediol glucuronide) it raised only when I supplemented with DHEA.

http://www.genome.jp/kegg/pathway/map/map00140.html http://www.genome.jp/kegg/pathway/map/map00140.png

http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/9679/image55o.jpg

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19098687

Pharmacokinetics of dehydroepiandrosterone and its metabolites after long-term oral dehydroepiandrosterone treatment in postmenopausal women.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/71184/do-i-want-good-dheas-or-low-3-diol-g/71235#71235 Answer by Daniel Kirsner for Do I want good DHEAs or low (3α-diol G) Daniel Kirsner 2011-10-19T04:23:48Z 2011-10-19T04:23:48Z
So you cannot have DHEA or DHEAs in the normal range without going over the top on the other one?
http://paleohacks.com/questions/71184/do-i-want-good-dheas-or-low-3-diol-g/74250#74250 Answer by Dorado Galore for Do I want good DHEAs or low (3α-diol G) Dorado Galore 2011-11-02T05:39:41Z 2011-11-02T05:39:41Z
I don't know the answer to this question .. but I do know it is a damn smart one, informed and educated and, heck, the kind of thing I sign on to this space to read about and explore.

I happen to be more than passingly interested in matters related to DHEA and testosterone, thus what stands out for me in your writing is:

"What do I want more good DHEAs level or lower 5α-Androstane-3α, 17β-Diol Glucuronide, Serum (3α-diol G)."

The either/or construction catches my attention, and makes me ask, inevitably, what makes you think it's this particular choice? That is, what's your information base, such that you narrow to that dichotomy? You may be on to something, so feel free to share your thinking...
