Well, there's something going around (Irving, TX) and several people around me are sick. For me, I have the sniffles, and a cough (regularly coughing up phlegm). I wasn't too worried about it, but now I'm on the third week. So, after some thought, I realized that 3 weeks ago was when I started incorporating potatoes back in the diet regularly, BUT, I fry them in Coconut oil, which I don't normally use.

General Thoughts? Advice?

My taste changes, though, because when healthy I prefer grapefruit but when sick I prefer a sweet orange. I also like ginger drinks if my stomach is unhappy. I also like bland foods such as a sweet potato with butter or a banana.

I find self-experimentation is the only way to figure this type of stuff out. Good luck...and feel better!
