Ick.

But I would try this stuff if I still ate sugared chocolates.

Funny that they advise eating it within 20 days -- frankly, neither bacon nor chocolate sits around my house that long.

It was tasty, but very intensely so, and I'm not sure I really liked the two tastes together. I could only eat about 1.5 pieces before it was too much.

I'm sure a homemade version with good quality chocolate and bacon would be awesome and makes a great stocking stuffer.

Have you tried this??FED at LiveCaveman.com2011-11-18T19:10:44Z2011-11-18T19:10:44Z
First I made chocolate covered bacon (bakers choc. over thick-cut organic uncured bacon)...

Then I tried coconut butter (let's do organic brand "coconut cream")...

Then decided why not both?

Making this stuff at home only requires the ability to boil water (for melting chocolate and coconut butter) and frying up some bacon, so I couldn't imagine paying someone else to do it for me, but I can see how the nice, professionally boxed chocolate-covered bacon would make a great gift, especially if you wanted to send it to a friend or relative.
