Not sure if these are considered skin tags. Since I've gone paleo with my diet in August of 2011 (4 months) these growths have very slowly and gradually thinned out, flattened and become more like pale freckles; no more ridges. Don't know yet if they will disappear completely but nevertheless I'm thrilled. Plus, I'm not sure exactly what element of the change in diet to attribute this to. I've increased my meat, egg, and saturated fat intake, eliminated all vegetable oils except for olive oil in my salads, and I have eliminated all grains and legumes. Have also significantly increased my Vitamin D3 intake with a combination of more sunshine and D3 supplements. Overall, my skin is in much better shape in terms of its appearance: smoother and more evenly textured, redness on my neck has also disappeared. So there you have it from my experience.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/85124/disappearing-skin-tags/85510#85510 Answer by jess6 for disappearing skin tags jess6 2011-12-24T01:34:45Z 2011-12-24T01:34:45Z
I had a few, and they appear to be gone. Hadn't really thought to look before now!

However, they developed during pregnancy, so the disappearance could be the result of hormonal changes not related to paleo. At the same time, I've always read that they were permanent unless removed.
http://paleohacks.com/questions/85124/disappearing-skin-tags/147170#147170 Answer by P1E for disappearing skin tags P1E 2012-09-04T14:59:42Z 2012-09-04T14:59:42Z
I've been low-medium carb, medium protein & high fat for a few months now. Recently I added in slow jogging (as well as using more coconut in my diet) and it's seems like that is really speeding up my positive skin improvements. I had skin tags on my neck for over 10 years and now they are almost gone. I had a very noticable skin tag on my eyelid for over 15 years and today suddenly realized it is totally gone! I have a rather large brown skin tag (raisin sized) on my stomach that I've had for at least 25 years and it seems to have gotten smaller lately and is beginning to itch...this might be healing too?
