JoshF 2012-01-12T19:51:33Z 2012-01-12T19:51:33Z
My inflation response is intense. I'm assuming this is because eating a diet to reduce inflamation means that when inflamation needs to work, it does with a vengeance! When I twist, bang, break or otherwise damage myself, the first response is massive swelling. Massive swelling that is almost comical (wife: "Should we go to the doctor, that looks bad?" me: "nah, doesn't hurt at all and I don't think it's broken, what are they gonna do?"). There is little or no pain after about 15 minutes post-injury. The swelling goes down after about 25%(?) of the repair time. The pain sets in after the swelling goes down and the healing starts.

As others have mentioned, it's a little faster to heal, but I think the big changes are the instant inflamation, relative painlessness, I only ooze blood instead of gush blood, little to no bruising even for major damage that leaves notches in my bones I can feel months later.

I've made several Wolverine jokes about it ;)
http://paleohacks.com/questions/96039/whats-so-wrong-with-eating-past-satiety Comment by JoshF JoshF 2012-02-08T05:26:22Z 2012-02-08T05:26:22Z Once-per-day Eater here, checking in. The edge that hunger brings and the happiness of a full belly all in one day? Yes, please! I've been doing it for 5 months. I also tend to skip a meal now and again.
