http://paleohacks.com/questions/191763/bacon-crisping-recommendations/191788#191788Answer by Carl_Stawicki for Bacon crisping recommendationsCarl_Stawicki2013-04-16T21:57:51Z2013-04-16T21:57:51Z
I use a shallow cookie sheet with the bacon placed on a cooling rack. The bacon stays out of the grease and thus gets crispy because it's not soggy. The grease is easy to collect afterwards.

And as already mentioned, I use a lower temperature and allow the bacon to cook slower.

Your body doesn't know why it's running, and I'm thinking it's the same deal as when an animal (including humans) defecate when startled and have to run. Also, birds defecate before take off.

Or possibly it's just that your bowels are being agitated.

If I do sunny-side-up, I'll let the egg cool a little, pick up the whole thing and eat it in one gulp with no mess. I've also used coconut flakes to sop up the runny yolk.

My layman's opinion is that 2 weeks isn't enough time to give any new diet a chance.

Breakfast can be anything, but most people would agree it should include some protein. Many times my breakfast is left over dinner from the night before.

It would change the ketchup flavor quite a lot I think, maybe even so much that you would not have ketchup, per se, but something new.

I never tried their recipe, but it looks too elaborate. My ketchup recipe is just tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, salt, and then whatever other seasoning you want. Combine everything with a stick blender until smooth. Add horseradish to make cocktail sauce.

http://paleohacks.com/questions/174200/purchased-3-lbs-of-raw-sugarcane-today/174224#174224Answer by Carl_Stawicki for Purchased 3 lbs of raw sugarcane todayCarl_Stawicki2013-01-18T13:12:23Z2013-01-18T13:12:23Z
I had sugarcane once. I remember it wasn't something you were supposed to eat, rather, you chewed on a piece, sucked out the sugary juice, and spit out the left-over roughage. It was fibrous like a piece of soft wood would be. I can't imaging someone eating it like a fibrous vegetable.

So...If I was doing it correctly, then "eating" sugarcane is actually just ingesting sugar juice with no fiber, which doesn't sound good to me.

Eventually she moved on to fresh fish and loves it.

I think it does have to do with how easy fish becomes "fishy." Plus, depending on how the fish is prepared, I sometime avoid it because of the bones.

Another thing for me is, a basic white fish fillet, as good as it may be, just doesn't "hit the spot" the way beef and chicken does. It might be because it's so low in fat and bland on its own.

So for instance, nobody should be allowed to use the phrases "Paleo Diet" or "Primal Blueprint" as book titles, or "Mark's Daily Apple" as a website name, just like you can't make computers named "Apple". I'm guessing Sisson owns the phrase "Primal Fuel" for his supplements, but not the word Primal itself.
