Has anyone ever come across Sacha Inchi Protein powder?

http://www.matakanasuperfoods.com/ms/products/sacha-inchi-protein-powder.html

Thoughts?

I know that it goes against the principles of paleo...but there are times when you need a quick fix protein source after a workout and just don't have the time to organise other protein sources

From what I can see it delivers a lower protein content than say, egg-white protein but I am curious as to what the paleo community makes of the omega 3:6 ratios and (possibly) a lower level of processing

Cheers

Hi, my partner and I have recently started eating paleo...we are almost up to 3wks!

One thing we have both noticed is that we don't feel the need to drink as much water as we used to. We used to both regularly drink around 2 litres a day.

We have been tossing around possible reasons why...maybe eating more veges with a higher water content? Or, possibly less glucose dumping in urine so more water re-absorption in kidney tubules?

I am curious if anyone else experienced this or has any thoughts on why this might be the case?

http://paleohacks.com/questions/20581/has-anyone-seen-a-doctor-who-suggested-paleo/20588#20588Answer by Crystal for Has anyone seen a doctor who suggested Paleo? Crystal2011-01-26T11:08:27Z2011-01-26T11:08:27Z
I have a doctor who recommended a grain free diet to me when I had bad acne and his rationale for cutting out grains was exactly along paleo lines.

He was totally on board with regards to leveling out insulin levels for preventing many diseases and he told me that anyone or any culture that is grain-free tends to live longer.

His recommendation along with a 30-day cross-fit challenge had me started on paleo about 4mths ago.

I have seen my doctor since and he was really interested in paleo (not knowing much about it as his dietary wisdom has come through other means) and he took down the details for Loren Cordain and Robb Wolf's books so he could follow them up...but essentially he thought that the nutritionists and Australian dietary guidelines were way off on recommendations of a high carb/low fat diet

I did used to have a whey protein isolate but in an effort to minimise dairy I am currently using an egg-white protein powder for those times when there is nothing handy in the fridgehttp://paleohacks.com/questions/22039/cacao-nibs-what-should-i-do-with-them/22043#22043Comment by CrystalCrystal2011-02-06T02:32:48Z2011-02-06T02:32:48Zyep, I do the homemade trail mix as well (we call it scroggin in NZ) and it is awesome.
