Really, credit cards aren't paleo? (Neither are computers. Or the Internet. Doy.) We have a Chase Freedom. I like that right now I get 5% back at grocery stores, and I like that I always get 1% cash back. I like that I can download a .csv... (more)

I have been doing Paleo for over two months now and LOVE it. I love the foods and the way i feel. I understand that eating whole foods is going to be more expensive then the cheap processed stuff, but my new shopping habits are affecting my bank... (more)

More thoughts: shop around and buy in bulk when you find a good price. I buy coconut milk by the case when it goes on sale at the local Asian grocery. Smaller places that don't advertise will have good deals, but you have to know what the going... (more)

I am slowly trying to transition my three-year-old twins to a healthier, closer-to-Paleo diet from a "healthier version" of the SAD (they currently eat meats, fruits, veggies, dairy, whole grains, legumes, limited sugar, limited processed foods,... (more)

I have been Paleo for 6 months, never eating gluten, but now my family and I are in a bind. For 2 months I have only a $50/week budget for all food, and there are 6 of us. The rest of my family refuses to give up bread, so I will break into our... (more)

As a modern paleo, do you place less emphasis on money than the average Joe or Josephine? Other than expensive groceries, what do you spend money on? Money seems to be involved in almost all our decisions as modern men and women. Money is... (more)

Crossfit gyms, grass-fed and pastured meats and some of the hardware (Vibrams) can be expensive. The ideal, optimized diet may be at a cost that is greater by a factor of 2 for the average American's food expenditure. I feel like this puts the... (more)
