Eat some carbs and don't go cold-turkey straight into paleo, ease in. Goes against nearly every guru/blog/book out there, but changing one's diet should not be done quickly, unless you enjoy digestive upset and general malaise.

I didn't experience headaches either when I transitioned. I think the hardest thing for me was getting rid of grains, but that quickly became easy because I felt so much better so quickly. My skin started to clear up, the awful stomach cramps... (more)

It is most likely due to the lower carb intake and the reduced amount of junk food. Think of it like a smoker having withdraws after quitting. It is a similar situation, with how your body is handling the adaption. Going back to eating bad stuff... (more)
