Stressing out about drinking Tang a few time a year is likely worse for you then just enjoying it a few time a year. Just my two cents.

Eat fat and carbs. Fried plantains or sweet potatoes. Poach fruit in cream. Broil cheese over vegetables. Being in ketosis will work against weight gain.

As pointed out in the other thread, it makes no sense to include D in this, as paleo man got most of his D from the sun. The food that contains the most D, liver, probably contains too much A compared to D.
