Tubers like taro are paleo but some may have issues with the higher levels of starch. I'd treat them similar to sweet potatoes,-good for weight gain, bad for weight loss, good for nutrition and those who need calories, bad for those with bad blood... (more)

It's a better test to see what's coming into your body/being absorbed via some blood tests. Regardless of what's in the food, you want to know how much you're taking in from it if anything... You aren't what you eat, you're what you absorb! :) (more)

if you can handle it add dairy, always works for me. Having eaten within 1-2 hours of when I work out and than eating something with fat and protein afterwards also seems to help me a bunch. However the major major thing would be more calories... (more)

Has anyone made sweet potato gnocchi? Could you do it without flour? I eat sweet potatoes and this sounds like a good way to get a "pasta fix" if you were in the mood. If you mixed this with some good bacon I think it would be amazing. That is all. (more)

I think you might be able to try it with sweet potato, coconut flour and eggs - not sure about the ratios, however... If you wanted a lower-carb version you could also try it with some canned/mashed pumpkin instead of the sweet potatoes. (more)

There's no reason to stop breastfeeding at 1. The WHO recommends going until age 2. I personally breastfed my daughter til 28 mos. My youngest is almost 8 mos and I'll continue to breastfeed him as long as he wants. Look into child led weaning.... (more)
