If it is the diuretic effect (it probably is, IMHO) a simple test will let you know the answer. Pick some dandelions leaves (say, 2 oz.) and eat them in a salad. That is a stronger (not to mention healthier) diuretic. I eat 2-4 salads at each... (more)

I eliminated dairy for about 1 1/2 years after which I reintroduced large quantities of raw milk, cheese and butter with no problem. I still do about 1/2 gallon of pastuerized milk and some butter and feel fine.
