If it is the diuretic effect (it probably is, IMHO) a simple test will let you know the answer. Pick some dandelions leaves (say, 2 oz.) and eat them in a salad. That is a stronger (not to mention healthier) diuretic. I eat 2-4 salads at each... (more)

Interesting, I thought the theory was exactly the opposite with diets like SCD, GAPS, and anti-Candida - eliminating certain foods to starve pathogenic organisms, creating a less competitive environment for beneficial ones.
