I lost 40 lbs eating chocolate regularly. Sure didn't stop me! Context is also key, though. Eating dark chocolate kept me from eating larger portions of worse things. YMMV.

Buy local and eat with the seasons. Stick with berries, non-starchy veggies and tubers (but tubers only if you're insulin sensitive). I recommend that you DON'T pick something and eat it daily into perpetuity. Your body was designed for variety. (more)
