hi. had my GB out a few years ago. I've been paleo for a while now. And I haven't noticed a need for any additional bile in my diet. Just saying, maybe you dont need it.

Arg, horrors! I have known people who have had the gallbladder out. Some of the docs would make you think you don't need it and all will likely be fine after. But many do suffer serious intestinal problems from that day forth. The big problem... (more)

In all of the peoples that had a gall bladder removed because they "had-to",did the educated "official" ever suggest taking 5000mg-8000mg of L-Ornithine,which is about a dollar and rapidly opens the duct!?

In my case, I 'had to' because I had a gall stone the size of a quarter blocking my duct. Doubt taking anything would have helped in that case.

Even without a gallbladder you are still producing bile and it still does its job of emulsifying the fats in your meal. The only difference is that the bile isn't stored in a bladder and squirted in in large quantities as needed, it still gets... (more)
