I just sunbathed on grass for the first time and it has been very itchy, I'm itching still. I thought earthing at the same time could be better so chose the grass but I may rethink... I also saw small bugs I could not identify, a list of... (more)
Earthing is likely woo nonsense. Yeah, it might be bugs, it might be pesticides on the gress, it might be weed killer you're reacting to.
I am primal and have been thinking of making yogurt out of Good Earth Farms milk. It's really the only non-traditional milk available to me besides Horizon brand. It claims to be "pasture-raised" but what exactly does it mean? I can't... (more)
I keep hearing a lot of negative feedback on the grass fed beef from whole foods. I actually 2 speicifc commentsd from this site- one was saying that whole foods grass fed doesnt taste "right" compared to other grass fed, and another comment... (more)
I am just skeptical of the "grass fed" label at any large store, just like "organic". It is not precisely defined or regulated, and the stores know that it is good for marketing, so they tend to blur and corrupt the meaning of it so that they can... (more)
http://www.certified-organic-beef.com/ everything looks good, grass fed/finished pasture, organic, yada yada yada. But then why is only classified as step 4 and not step? What are they missing that is making then unable to achieve the step 5... (more)
You do realize that if the cows are pastured and free range, there is a 100% chance that they are eating wheat and other grains/seeds of grasses when in season, right? Advice: stop worrying about this so much.
I can't find 100% grass fed cows' milk in or around Charlotte NC. I can't even find any store that will special order it. Not Whole Foods and not Earth Fare. Any suggestions? Thank you.
There is this product by Amazing Grass called Amazing Meal (Chocolate Infusion) I typically used this as a protien drink before/after WODs. However, I am trying to be Paelo and I was curious if this product is Paleo friendly?
I'm a poor college student thousands of dollars in debt so I don't worry about buying grass-fed meat. I try to eat a good amount of canned salmon, take fish oil, and limit my nuts. Overall I'll try to be as paleo as possible until I find a way to... (more)
If I can't afford to buy grass fed beef, I don't buy beef...I've done way too much research on feedlot cattle to compromise, more than just occasionally...If I was at someone's house for dinner I would eat it and keep my mouth shut.
I'm looking for a place to buy grass fed beef. I recent reply to one of my questions raised the point that paying the freight to ship cross country may be worth it compared to my local pricing here in New Jersey. Would you mind telling me where... (more)
I'm 15 and have adopted the primal lifestyle! I get organic meat and organic free-range eggs, but I'm pretty sure they're fed 'organic cereals' and 'organic wheat'. Can I get pastured meat/eggs in supermarkets or do I need to nag my parents to buy... (more)
Apologies as this is not a question but hopefully an answer. I am a farmer in Cornwall and sell my grass fed beef nationwide. I have been using the same farming practices from my father and grandfather and am only now learning how beneficial our... (more)

I've been studying low carb diets for years, but 20 days ago I finally decided to definitely change my eating habits and now I'm full paleo. At first, in order to not feel overwhelmed, I ignored omega 3 to omega 6 ratios and postponed my decision... (more)
It's about $10 a lb more expensive and doesn't taste as good as the stuff I get from Fresh Market or The Meat Store. Are the benefits that much better for me nutritionally that I need to go to the extra trouble to order it online, pay more money,... (more)
Are there big differences between grass-fed and your regular old stuff? Yes. Is it worth it? I can't answer that for you. It depends on finances, priorities, etc. I always get grass-fed only, but we all are in different places and see things... (more)

Since federal law in the US requires cows to be grass fed (pastured) at least 4 months out of the year, a company can be slick with their labeling and say "grass fed". Maybe as a community we can all start advocating for % of grass fed to be labeled. (more)

I couldn't find an answer to this in the other threads so I would like some opinions. What would be better? A Raw Milk Organic Cheese that is not grass fed or a Grass Fed Organic Cheese that is not raw. That seems to be my choice locally.
