Their grass fed beef is good. It doesn't taste gamey like other ones I've had from local butchers or the grocery store. My favorite cuts are the ribeye and korean short rib. I get the custom box. I also like their chicken breast and pork belly. I... (more)

Lately I've been really into beef burgers (sans bun). It's also a lot cheaper than steak every night. Assuming they came from the same happily grassfed animal, how do they stack up against each other?

Hmmmmm, nutritionally I'm sure they're the same. But in the case of ground meat I wonder if the body is able to extract more nutrients from it, seeing as how the muscle fibers and fats have already been broken up and reconstituted? Sort of like... (more)

Low (heat) and slow, or high and fast? And, when to stop? When the beef is just browned, there's a good amount of grease in the pan, which gradually cooks off. Stop cooking when it's still greasy, or wait until that has been cooked away? EDIT:... (more)

I'd encourage you not to overthink this process. It's browing meat. It doesn't get much easier. Turn on the heat. Throw it in the pan. After a time or two, you'll figure out what works for you. You will have to try really hard to under- or... (more)
