Sunbathing on Grass Gives Itching ?

I just sunbathed on grass for the first time and it has been very itchy, I'm itching still. I thought earthing at the same time could be better so chose the grass but I may rethink... I also saw small bugs I could not identify, a list of potentially dangerous bugs that may be found on a grass area inside a grain producing area with some other plants, mostly ornamental or fruit/nut trees etc. may also be helpful.

Yes, that's perfectly normal. It's happened to me a million times. That's why I try to never lie on the grass without a shirt and if I do, I go take a quick cold shower afterwards, for some reason the cold water makes the itching go away even faster.

My skin was full of red spots and the spots and itching faded away totally after 2 days.

It's been a long time, and it didn't last 20 minutes. So you think it's a common reaction.

I'm not trying to put you down, I'm just amused. You never sat or rolled around on the grass before? Never walked through a field or forest with tall grass? I mean, these things just seem so common, I can't imagine someone not having done them. Even if you live in a big city, they still have parks with grass. When I was a child I would often be outside playing football or soccer in a field and whenever I sat down or fell on the grass I would get itchy, specially if I didn't have my shirt on. Heck, once I walked though a corn field without a long sleeve shirt and I was itching for hours...

Which sports did you play rolling on grass ? I did play many sports outdoor and your answer seems more like trying to put me down.

I do not think pesticides or weed killer are applied there, it's ornamental grass in my site...

Earthing is likely woo nonsense. Yeah, it might be bugs, it might be pesticides on the gress, it might be weed killer you're reacting to.

I can't believe someone is actually asking this question. You didn't know grass was itchy? Seriously?? You didn't play any sports when you were young? Did you spend your entire life indoors or something? I can't believe you didn't know this.

Grass itches. It itches because the little fuzzy fibers on the blades of grass get onto your skin and make you very itchy. You should go outside more often.
