That sounds pretty reasonable but a little too simple. Just getting a good amount of protein carbs and fat is nice, especially if it's from paleo sources... How varied is your diet though? Are you eating the same things day in and day out? Have... (more)

So, I started using myfitnesspal.com and using it to track my calories from protein, fat and carbs. Based off of a 2,830 daily diet, and what it recommends after some manual tweaking, it says I should keep my Fat at 196 grams, Protein at 220 grams... (more)

Unless you have digestive issues going higher on carbohydrates would probably be helpful. Yet except for those who really train HARD I think it is suggested to keep carbs to max of 150 grams/day. Your fat and protein values look fine. _Lazza (more)

If water causes heart burn, I would say you have a low amount of stomach acid. Water should not have a negative effect on your health... Recommend you look into some Digestive Enzymes, or HCL to address that issue. (I use Now foods ones) Coffee... (more)

It occurs to me that you may be having a histamine reaction, as many things that make MSG also make biogenic amines. Ever try a supplement called Histame?

I have no answer, but have this same problem. I did an elimination diet and, like OP said, found that it will vanish with a return to the SAD diet, but no elimination of eggs or other paleo foods did the trick.

Why was I leaner on a SAD than the paleo diet. Mod protein mod carbs low fat compared to mod protein high'ish fats low carb? Training has not changed... Please hack my thoughts
