The only reason to cook lower power for a longer time is to maintain texture in your food. It's extremely easy to overcook things in an instant or dry up the moisture to the point that you're eating shoe leather. Eggs are a pretty good example of... (more)

My wife suffers from pretty severe motion sickness. I'm wondering if any of you have dealt with this problem, whether a paleo diet helped with this problem or whether a specific dietary change or other change helped.

I worked at sea for a while and the best remedy for motion sickness is ginger-root. It works far better than the wrist bands or gravol (not to mention gravol knocks me out which isn't good for working). Start to supplement with ginger at least... (more)

The best thing you can do, in my opinion, is wait. 1.5 months is not that long and given you lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks, this means you have stalled for about 3 weeks now. I would say 15 pounds gone after 1.5 months is a very good result. Paleo is... (more)

I cook a sweet potato in the microwave and then add two raw egg yolks to the hot potato and mash. The hot potato lightly cooks the yolks for a quick nutritious meal that requires no dishes.

Your success will be 3 months when you're still losing weight and they've gained theirs back. But you probabl shouldn't listen to me, I think competitions have too high a possibility of participants abusing themselves over it.
