What is the best way to begin healing your GI tract? Also, what is the best way to get rid of constipation? This is assuming you are on the Paleo diet of course. Thanks for the answers!
The most important thing is to avoid whatever's irritating the GI tract. Presumably already avoid grains, legumes, casein (possibly), lactose (possibly); but you might want to be sure you're avoiding excessive fibre (especially insoluble), tannins... (more)

Excess carbs can interfere with wound healing--ask any one legged diabetic. Consider what you ate WITH those carbs, maybe something lacking in your diet, or just a coincidence of time.

Do we know what impact a Paleo lifestyle has on aging? In particular, how will our ability to heal change as we get older? Most Neolithic humans lose the ability to heal by the 50s or 60s almost completely. Bones start decalcifying by 30s and by... (more)
I cut myself with a filet knife whilest peeling a kiwi. It required some stitches and since I work with my hands- time off work, not good. So I was wondering if I should quit working out in order to get this cut to heal faster.
I guess working out is another stressor to recover from, so possibly. Noticeably slower? I don't know... Maybe just scale back the intensity of workouts, do some walking.
I'm 15 and I've been paleo for 3 months now, feeling great! I'm trying to convince my family to turn paleo with me, but they won't give their grains up. My main concern is my mom, because she has hypothyroidism since like 9 years ago, and she... (more)
