Just speaking for myself, when I eat carbs above about 125-150g per day it's like a switch to turn on the weight gain. Doesn't really matter if I'm exercising or not, it just starts to pack the weight around my waist. Recently I was working... (more)

I felt really great for a few months using my current diet which is widely varied foods: moderate carb, low protein, high fat. Lots of potatoes and sweet potatoes, lots and lots of butter, olive oil, tallow, and other animal fats, lots of... (more)

If you want to eat them but retain their normal appearance, I would suggest soaking them overnight. I don't think chewing is the issue, their cooked consistency & size makes chewing less than effective. (kinda like chia seed, they're... (more)

Is it normal to shoot for 150-200 g of fruit/veggie carbs or even more when trying to gain weight? Or does this seem excessive to anyone? FYI I feel fantastic but am not gaining weight as I still fall short on general calories most days. I don't... (more)
