Have you had your thyroid checked? If it's running even slightly below normal you can have elevated LDL. At least that's been my issue.

Total cholesterol 209 isn't any bad as a total number per se, but you'd be interested in getting at least the split count between HDL and LDL. Also trigglicerides are very important. You want low trigs plus high HDL and moderate LDL fluffy... (more)

I'm guessing your test result of 2.0 is in g/L. And converting that to mg/dL would be 200, not 2000. I think Canada uses g/L, while US uses mg/dL. Normal ApoB levels are 40 to 125 mg/dL (or 0.4 to 1.25 g/L). This study conducted in Canada found... (more)
