You can be sensitive to gluten and not be considered celiac by the usual tests. Doesn't mean you can eat wheat. Don't assume that sugar is safe for you just because everyone eats it, after all "everyone" eats wheat too.

Yes, it is technically feasible to eat toxic levels of protein. This is often estimated at 250-300g of protein for women, and 300-400g for men. It is incredibly unlikely that you will take in toxic levels of protein on any diet, let alone paleo... (more)

If you are having trouble affording grass fed meat, try regular grocery store meat. It's obviously not an ideal solution, but it would give you more food for your budget.
